1. Advance Payment & Confirmation
To confirm your Sundarban tour reservation, a minimum advance deposit of 20% to 30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid upon pickup in Kolkata or arrival at Godkhali Ghat before boarding the vessel.
2. Mandatory Government Identity Proof
As per West Bengal Forest Department rules, all travelers (Indian & Foreign Nationals) must present valid original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) for forest permit generation.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 7 days prior to travel: 100% refund of advance deposit.
- 3 to 7 days prior to travel: 50% refund of advance deposit.
- Less than 72 hours: Advance deposit is non-refundable due to pre-issued forest permits and hotel reservations.
4. Weather & Natural Disasters
In case of extreme weather alerts or cyclone warnings issued by the Met Department, trips will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient future date without cancellation penalty.
